 SPOTLIGHTMiddle School Class: Final Class @ 11:00am service only
As we stated in the bulletin last week, we will have one combined middle school class this Sunday at the 11:00am service. There will be no class at 9:00am service. This is the final middle school class for the school year: middle school and high school students should sit with their families in service during the summer.
Outdoor Service & Picnic: Sunday, June 13th - Come join us Sunday, June 13th, for an outdoor service at Dundee School Park followed by our annual all church picnic. The service will begin at 10am and will take the place of our usual 9am and 11am services. Purchase tickets for the barbeque at the Info Counter on Sunday morning: $12 for a family residing together in one household or $5 for individuals. If you would like to help with the picnic, please sign up at the Info Counter.
Ladies Night Out - Dinner & a Movie: Friday June 18th at 6:00pm
Mark your calendars and plan to enjoy a night out with dinner and a movie at the church. We hope you will join the fun and fellowship of a tailgate themed dinner and move: The Blind Side. Childcare will be available. There is not cost for this event: please sign up at the Info Counter so that we can get a general idea of how much food to have. Vacation Bible School: June 21st - 25th @ Newberg Friends Church - We are pleased to announce that we will be partnering with Newberg Friends Church in their Vacation Bible School this year, Route 254 (Psalm 25:4). To register your children, ages 4 years through 5th grade, please pick up a registration form at the Info Counter.
The Gatherings: Wednesdays - June 9, & 23rd, July 7th, August 4, & 18, September 1 @ 7pm. We are setting aside these Wednesdays to pray for the world and challenge ourselves personally to fulfill Jesus' mission. We will be taking a journey through the book The Hole In Our Gospel by Richard Stearns. To register pick up a registration form at the Info Counter. Childcare will be provided.
The Real Life Exhibit @ Medical Teams International - One of the first steps in fulfilling Jesus' mission is to understand the condition and needs of the world. We will be taking a fieldtrip to experience The Real Life Exhibit at Medical Teams International. Three dates will be offered for this experience: June 27th, July 25th, & August 22nd.
